Letters to the editor
No to reimbursement cutsMedicare recipients had better pay attention to the bill before Congress that would reduce reimbursements to physicians by 21 percent. The perfectly predictable outcome of this reduction will be that it will be even harder to find a doctor who will accept new Medicare patients and many doctors, including my own, will be forced to reduce the number of Medicare patients they are currently caring for. I urge you, in the strongest possible terms, to call Sens. Maria Cantwell (509) 353-2507 and Patty Murray (509) 624-9515, and Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (509) 353-2374 to express your opposition.
