FLOCH, Donna "Dege" Galles

Dege was born to Emily M. Kerr and Herman "Butch" Galles October 5, 1935. She graduated Clarkston High School in 1953. She is survived by her daughters Jannette Ryker of Twin Valley Minnesota, and Patsy Meehan of Denver Colorado. Also a son, Bill Meehan of Mount Lake Terrace Washington, grandson Noah of Spokane Washington and great grandson Andrew Ryker. Dege is also survived by her sister Bette Lynch of Clarkston Washington and her children: Scott, Mark, Tim and Darby Lynch.

She married Richard Meehan of Clarkston and they divorced. Later Dege married Don Floch of Clarkston Washington and they spent 20 some wonderful years as best friends traveling the US west to east and border to border. She bought a house in Ajo Arizona, joined an archeology group and began the most wonderful adventures of her life hiking, looking for rocks, ancient villages, and petroglyphs.

Her children were the loves of her life. She volunteered years at grade schools they attended. Dege also helped Clarkston's Holy Family and St John Vianney Alter Societies. She was a member of Ajo's Catholic daughters.

The hundreds of friends she met in life made her life adventure a blessed joy. Now she's off to an unknown adventure. Maybe the mystery of the meaning of petroglyphs will be explained.

A rosary will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday evening January 8th at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. The funeral will be held at the church at 11:00am on Friday January 9th 2008.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations are made to the Union Gospel Mission in Spokane Washington.
